Other roles include preparing the operating room's dressing table, instrument and anaesthesia table, sterilising all surgical instruments, drapes, and linen, and facilitating the drugs and anaesthetic gases required for surgery. A surgeon cannot operate without the assistance of an OT technician, and neither can a hospital or healthcare facility function successfully.
