A patient care specialty course, the Diploma in Physiotherapy (D.P.T.) Students can apply for the course after finishing class twelfth in the Science stream. D.P.T. is concerned with physiotherapy and medical fields related to it. Candidates learn how to treat patients with physical disabilities and wounds in a variety of settings, including hospitals, health centers, private practices, and sports clubs, during their course work. Candidates can pursue a Diploma in Physiotherapy after completing their 10+2 with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate score from a recognised board in the science stream. Admission to DPT programs is granted by some colleges and institutions based on merit or the results of entrance examinations.
